As the name suggests, a mobile grain drying tower is a flexible, mobile grain drying facility. Its biggest difference from traditional fixed drying centers lies in its mobility. It is typically mounted on a large trailer and towed by a tractor or truck, allowing for quick movement to various locations, such as fields, drying yards, or farmers' warehouses.
Core Working Principle:
The basic operating principle is similar to that of a fixed drying tower. A hot air furnace (burning diesel, biomass pellets, or natural gas) generates clean, hot air, which is then forced into the drying tower by a fan. Grain within the tower slowly flows downward under gravity, fully exposed to the hot air penetrating horizontally or vertically, evaporating excess moisture and ensuring safe storage. The dried grain is then discharged from the bottom.
